I would just like to ask all Probationary Healers if they think a questions and answers section would be good for this forum?.
I found that when I was a probationary healer I had loads of questions, and believe me I asked them, to the point that I got to be known for it, by a certain person, whom I will not name , but they know who they are lol.

A splendid idea, my dear -
What were the three most significant questions you asked - in that the answers had the most profound affect or impact upon you.
How long since you were a probationer?
Do employ any particular technique?
Do you employ any particular protection ritual?
How do define you are in the right spot?
Do you employ chakra techniques?
I will think of more if necessary
So haqil to all probationers - a sympathetic soul awaits your call

Hi Murray
Well you`ve certainly caught me off guard, I didnt expect all these questions , thats my job lol, but I will do my best to answer them from what I can remember it was a long time ago.
I think that the first question I asked, was
1... Can I become a channel for healing?
I wasn`t sure whether or not I would make a good channel. After I learnt how to open myself up to the vibrations, I felt a lot easier. Learning how to meditate helped me a lot, and I found meditating to peaceful music a great help, although this way is not for everyone.
2... Where does the Healing come from?
As a spiritual healer, I believe that healing comes from higher entities, such as your healing guides or angels and they use us as their channels for their healing energy.
I know that different types of healers believe different things, but as far as I`m concerned as long as healing is received, does it matter!!
3... Why do we have to learn a Code Of Conduct?
When I first joined as a probationer, one of the first things I was sent was a copy of the code of conduct, I thought "ohhhhh noo I havent got to learn all this off by heart have I", but after reading it, I realised that it has been drawn up for our protection as well as the protection of the people receiving the healing.
I used to ask loads of questions to do with the code of conduct, but cant remember any at the mo lol. But if you you dont ask, then you stay in the dark is one of my mottos.
It is 9yrs since I was a probationer, oh blimmey thats makes me feel old I became a full healer in 1999, but did 2yrs as a probationer before that, mind you I was only young then (if you believe that, then you`ll believe anything ha ha) I`m 47 now eeekkkkk
Do I employ any particular technique?
Well not really I just use the laying on of hands, but I do start on the top of the head, I find that I can tune in better with the person who`s receiving the healing.
Do I employ any particular protection ritual?
Before I start healing I always ask for protection from my guides, and the trainer that I had when I was just starting told me, that if I felt negative vibes off of anyone who was receiving healing, to imagine that there was a mirror around me which the negative vibes bounced off of , it does work I found and I still use it today if I need it.
How do I define that I`m in the right spot?
The only thing I can say is that in my personal experience my hands become hotter in that area. Although I have had one experience of my hands becoming cold.
Do I employ chakra?
No I don`t but that doesn`t mean that I wouldn`t consider it in the future.
I hope someone will find this helpful!! _________________ Jackie

Hi Jackie, Thank you for your posts regarding healing, I think it would be a marvelous idea to post informations about healing and hope to start a debate and further informations to be posted by the general membership - the more the merrier, God Bless.

Welcome Jackie A to the forum.
The idea of a learning section to the forum with questions and answers
is exciting and I do look forward to the learning experience of which you
are able to share with us.
Many blessings,
Pat
PS I do have a question for you.
The word "probationer" that is being used..
can you please explain the meaning of that.
Is it related to the same as understudy? or is there another
explanation for that please. Thank you. _________________ Many Blessings,

Hi Pat
May I first thankyou for your warm welcome to the forum.
The meaning of Probationer in healing terms is a Trainee. In the Lincolnshire Healers we have a 2yr training period, before we become fully qualified.
As a probationer (trainee) we are not allowed to practise healing unsupervised, and should never visit anyone at home without a fully qualified healer to accompany us. Mind you the way the world is at the moment I don`t think I would like to visit someone on my own anyway.
Why 2yrs training? well it gives us time to learn our code of conduct, and practise to become confident in what we are doing.
I hope this has helped you Pat.
Please feel free to ask more questions at anytime
Love & light
